Pritzker on School Vax: "I Think We Should Follow the Scientists & Doctors"

Governor of Illinois signals he wants covid-19 vaccine required for school attendance

Reporter Amy Jacobsen asked Governor of Illinois J.B. Prtizker today, “What are you going to do?” when it comes to requiring the covid-19 vaccine for school attendance in Illinois next fall.

Prtizker replied:

“We’re not currently requiring that. That’s something that goes through the General Assembly. All of the vaccination requirements are heard by the General Assembly, decided upon by the General Assembly. So, it’s obviously something we’re listening to doctors about and making sure we’re making the right decisions. But at this point, not required.”

“What are your thoughts on it?” Jacobsen pushed.

Prtizker:

“I think we should follow all of the scientists and doctors. That’s what I’ve been doing all along. Make sure that we’re doing the right thing here. You know, the CDC has made a recommendation, that’s true. But this is a process that we need to consider. Obviously, all across the state, we have representatives that want to be heard on this subject. I think it’s appropriate.”

So, after months-n-months-n-months of tyrannical covid-19 mandates - including vax orders for healthcare workers and teachers - Pritzker now wants voters to believe he’s all about “Balance of Power” and “The Actual Law”?

That’s rich.

I might be picking nits, but Pritzker seems to be pretending he doesn’t know there are two routes for adding the covid vax to the school schedule, only one of which requires the full Illinois General Assembly. The other path, which I outlined in a previous post, involves the Department of Health, an immunization committee

, several hearings, and a smaller group of legislators known as JCAR.

Make no mistake: If re-elected, J.B. Pritzker has every intention of making kids get vaccinated and/or boosted as a condition of school enrollment. From conception to graduation, the man is anti-child & anti-parent.

Vote. Him. Out.
